SQL Server Database and Account Move

Recently a client wanted to move their enterprise SQL server database to a new server running as a virtual machine. It was a simple enough task to backup the database using the SQL GUI tools and restore it to the new database but the logins didn't move over because they were kept outside of the database. We found this article on the Microsoft KB describing how to migrate the login accounts as well.
