For any of you interested in streaming QuickTime friendly videos from a server you operate, you can easily download, install, and run a QuickTime/Darwin Streaming Server on your Mac/*nx server or desktop computer.

Of course you'll need to make sure your ports are open on your machine and your firewall (if you want to make it available off-LAN), ports 554 tcp & udp, alternately 8554.
