Trent Reznor to NIN fans: Help us understand what you'll buy

Even though I'm not as avid a music fan these days as I was 10 years ago, I still have tremendous respect for Trent Reznor (who IS Nine Inch Nails). The guy has given the middle finger to most of the recording industry and has an infinitely greater understanding and empathy toward music fans of how they want to get their music. In an unprecedented move, he's advertised a survey to try to get a better sense of what the consumer wants.
